Wahoo RPM Cadence Sensor is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 103.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed: disconnects and drops out I bought this six months ago (along with Kickr and HRM). The other parts are great but the cadence sensor is almost useless. I never get a trouble free ride. At least one of the following will happen: takes several attempts to connect at start of ride; drops out after a few minutes or as soon as I spin over 100 rpm; apps show "connected" but with no reading; signal comes in and out but with obviously wrong readings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stick and go! I purchased the Cadence counter to help me with my "at-home" spin classes; the apps I use often base their directions on cadence so I needed something to let me know how I was doing. I had the Cadence counter out of the box and in use within minutes. I also use the Wahoo Tickr HRM and it's so nice to be able to see both readouts from one (Wahoo) app. Great purchase! Highly recommend!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Dissapointed I purchased the cadence sensor and cannot get it to pair with my apps. I have an iphone 7 and us Strava, Map My Ride and now also Wahoo. The phone indicates that the sensor is linked, but none of the apps will pair. I have tried all the suggestions at the Wahoo and Strava websites to no avail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sensor for spin! Got this a month ago to use for spin class, our bikes don't have any computers on them. I put the sensor in an extra foot pod case I had, and stuck it on the bottom strap of my shoe. It works fine flat, it doesn't need to be "vertical" as if it were attached to the crank arm. I put the app up on my phone, stick it in one of the two water bottle holders, and base my resistance off the RPMs. I wish there was a "quick" way to add on the speed sensor as well, trying to determine distance requires a degree in mathematics!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works great ... when it works I was excited to find this product to use on my new spin bike to track cadence. Out of the box I could not get it to work. Emailed support, and in addition to trying a new battery was given a list of things to try (restart my phone, etc.). The minute I put the new battery in, the flashing light appeared and I was set. (So why even insert the battery in the product? Either send without a battery or include it separately). I used it to spin twice in three days and it was great, I was stoked. Two days later and less than a week after replacing the original battery, I go to spin and the sensor isn't connecting. Try a new battery and we are back to the blinking light and it's ready for use. I have my sensor laying in two parts with the battery not installed in hopes of getting more than a week out of one battery, otherwise I'd be better off paying for a spin CLASS than replacing a battery every week. SERIOUSLY Wahoo, this product is on the verge of being SO GOOD but this battery thing has to be fixed. An on/off switch would be great. Instructions on removing the battery between uses (as much as pain that is?) or would 'forgetting the sensor' on the app work too? Not sure and I'm taking no chances but my excitement for this has waned with this battery issue we are ALL having. PLEASE FIX

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with Strava, iPhone & Apple Watch Setup was a little rocky, with instructions hidden away in the website, and pairing with Strava app on iPhone took a few tries. It pairs with Strava as Speed & Cadence, rather than just Cadence, but works. Once the sensor is paired with Strava on the iPhone, starting Strava from Apple Watch captures cadence seamlessly. Didn't have clearance to mount on the inside of the crank arm, but adhesive mount on the outward-facing non-drive arm near bottom bracket works well.
