Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product for indoor training! Excellent product. Great for indoor training and gives a real bike feel. Only thing is they could improve on the bar tape but just a minor detail.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kickrbike Great bit of kit, easy to set up, ultra adjustable and gears very smooth. Ok, so it’s not like riding a normal bike but hey, nor was sitting atop a road bike rigged up to a kickr or other indoor trainer. Just hope it’s built for longevity and doesn’t let me down as I don’t fancy returning the hefty thing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the price. I love this bike. I have had a smart trainer for years and wanted something I could get on and go without having to mount my bike on the trainer. My husband also uses the trainer, so we were constantly swapping out bikes. I looked at Peloton (not really my jam), Nordic Track and Schwinn, among others. Then I came upon the Kickr bike and it had everything I was looking for. Integrates seamlessly with Sufferfest and Zwift, rides like a dream, and is a quality build. Easy to switch between riders as well. Money well spent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New kit and new feel I had been waiting for the UK release of this bike for months so good to be able to receive it. The set up was straight forward enough and having rode with a Wahoo Kickr for the last 5 years the first couple of weeks have been interesting re transition. The ride feel is very different to the Kickr which I partly expected given the different technology, I would class the Kickr freewheel set up for me as more reflective of the outdoor ride feel, the new bike feels more Wattbike and is going to take some time to get used to but having ridden over 15k miles on the Wahoo Kickr I have to accept its a different technology. The incline feel on Zwift is not as marked as I thought it would be having ridden Alpe du Zwift to test it out and the difference in my power output from the Wahoo Kickr to the bike is about 8% different so I need to retest my FTP to bring it into line (the Wahoo Kickr FTP was 313 and the Kickr Bike is around 285, Note though I am at the end of a big block of training do fatigue may be an issue but nonetheless I think the Wahoo Kickr FTP was unrealistic overall as threshold and VO2 efforts on TrainerRoad were unachievable on the Kickr Bike for the last week). The overall aesthetic is a lot better with the new bike, once I am used to the ride feel I am sure it will be as familiar as the Wahoo Kickr.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surviving CV crisis with the Kickr Bike / Zwift Love this trainer bike and it's helping with Zwift and staying at home. One issue that I'm having is that the "drop" between the saddle and bars is too much so I'll be looking for a way to raise the bars. I also love the "climb mode". It seems like a crazy amount to spend on a trainer bike but when you consider the cost of a road bike along with the amount of time I spend on this its completely worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with purchase so far Ordered the bike from the U.K. and despite the coronavirus situation it was delivered within 3 working days, which I thought was remarkable. The install and setup of the bike was very straight forward using the app. I joined Zwift and got the bike connected with no issues at all. At first I did not seem to get the uphill/downhill working but looking in YouTube I found the setting I was missing. Me and my wife have now been using the bike for a week and we love it! My only compliant thus far is that the bike rattles on the floor if you really pound it even if we are on the lower scale weight wise (58kg & 65kg). I previously owned a kettler racer s bike and base/legs just didn’t move/rattle no matter what. I have the bike sit on 1.9cm rubber Gym flooring, which I am hoping won’t get damaged. Other than although certainly pricey this it is a great purchase providing Wahoo continue to offer software support and updates over the years to come (don’t pull a Sonos style policy or you’ll lose customer loyalty!) to keep the bike compatible with the major virtual cycling apps such as Zwift. Thanks Wahoo for listening.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Step Up from the Kickr/Climb The bike was delivered much faster than promised. Setup was easy. The bike is quiet and smooth... so quiet, in fact, that you might wonder if the tilt is working. If it's unlocked, it is! I swapped out the handlebars, seat, and pedals and it now has a great feel comparable to my road bike. Not only that, but now I can tweak my setup, try different things easily, and then adjust my road bike to match my Kickr bike. Some reviewers report thigh contact with the top tube that's 2 1/4" wide. I taped down a cardboard strip that wide to my road bike and saw it wouldn't be a problem. Sure enough, I have no problems with that on the Kickr bike. I do occasionally touch the inside heel of my right foot with a flare near the right chainstay on the Kickr bike. I use speedplay pedals and unconsciously use quite a bit of the resulting float. It's not a big deal, just occasionally a annoying. So the bottom line is that I'm really glad to have the Kickr bike and don't regret the significant investment in it. It's definitely quieter, smoother, more flexible, and more responsible than the excellent Kickr/Climb setup I had been using for over a year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome indoor training bike! I've never been a huge fan of indoor training, but I've been eyeing one of these for a while and I finally decided to pull the trigger just as the COVID-19 lockdowns were starting to come down. I'm glad I did! This makes riding inside so much more enjoyable. The ride realism when paired with an app like Zwift is amazing, and having a dedicated machine so I don't have to swap my bike between inside and outside makes getting on the trainer way less of a hassle. I've only got ~250 miles on it so far, but I'm really enjoying the bike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent except for the handlebars tape. Wow! What a machine. Beautifully built, well packed, easily set up. Everything works as advertised and gives a great workout. I expected to change the seat right away and I did. Seats are a personal, very personal, preference. My only complaint is the cheap wrapping job on the handlebars. Seriously, a $3500 bike and you couldn’t do a decent job wrapping the handlebars?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from pair it with Rouvy AR for real feel I have put 75 hours on mine using Rouvy AR and it is keeping me sane during COVID-19 lockdown. The feel on HD video-linked Augmented Reality rides is so good that I naturally try to look around corners, and reach for the brakes when a car pulls out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Rider So far I'm stunned at how quiet the bike is - as much aural footprint as a fan in the background (no annoying clicks or squeaks like I have with my old bike mounted trainer). Combined with Zwift it certainly feels like I'm entering an exciting new training period. I'm looking forward to the coming miles (once I change that saddle!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent trainer (with pros and cons) It has been about 10 days my Kickr Bike arrived, and I'm very happy with it. I was a bit skeptical with the design when I saw the pictures, but the actual product looks much better than the pictures in my opinion. I see some advantages (and some disadvantages) when compared to a trainer + bike. Advantages: 1) the visual appearance, which can be important depending on where you keep your trainer 2) the easy of adjusting the settings, it makes much easier to share the trainer with another user (without having to swap bikes all the time) 3) it's always ready to use (you can achieve this having a bike permanently on the trainer, but it will cost you as much as the Kickr Bike) Disadvantages: 1) It's no so easy to move it around, if you need to take it out of the way in some occasions. It is probably super difficult if you have to move houses! 2) It does not have a TT/Tri bike setup (but probably extensions bars can be attached to the handlebars)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HIGHLY recommend the KICKR Bike I upgraded to the KICKR Bike after using the top-of-the-line KICKR Smart Trainer for approximately 18 months. As good as it already was, I have zero regrets! The setup was easy and intuitive with the Wahoo App, it connects quickly via bluetooth, it is very quiet, the power and wattage are accurate, and you can really customize the shifters. The shifting is super smooth and if you have the settings down correctly, it will incline and decline as the virtual terrain varies. Most importantly, the construction and sturdiness of the KICKR Bike is evident; it does not wobble and you can get in and out of the saddle without worrying about torquing the frame or construct. Another amazing Wahoo product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Wahoo Bike I used to ride the Proform Tour D France-- this is soooo much improved-- silent so I can ride early in the morning etc. It is a precise machine that I ride with Zwift and it is so great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional, but with room for improvement. I have logged a dozen or so rides now on the Wahoo Bike. Because of weather and schedule demands I log more than half of my total miles and 2/3 of my rides a year on the trainer and Zwift. The great: whomever designed the software-based shifting and ride quality deserves a gold star. It really replicates the feel of shifting and accuracy of gearing with my outdoor bike. And I love that I don’t have to worry about a chain, or a derailleur getting out of adjustment etc. It is truly exceptional in this area. Overall it is a much better experience than a classic direct drive smart trainer with a standard bike, and I thought that experience was already good. Setup was quite easy. I used the output from my Guru fit and it felt just like my outside bike with exception that for some reason the saddle height was at least 2 inches off but easy enough to adjust. The not-so-great: With a price tag of $3,500, one would think that Wahoo would include something better than a $5 saddle. The bar and bar-tape are not much better. My assumption is they assume everyone will want their own saddle choice and bar/bar-tape. It is almost as if they went to vendors and said we just need to put something on the bike, so give us the cheapest you have regardless of function. For many people what is shipped would have worked if it was of any level of quality and it just adds cost to the overall package having to replace. And it cheapens an otherwise great solution. The not expected: I like the climb feature, particularly on long climbs. However, when riding a Zwift course with a lot of rollers like Sand and Sequoias, it is almost motion sickness inducing. My solution was merely to put the climb lock on when in a section of significant rollers. It might just be me and something I need to get used it. A word on financials: Yes $3500 is a lot of money. Yes, it is a luxury. But my backup bike got destroyed and I am not a fan of moving my main bike on and off the trainer as I think it causes undo wear and tear on the bike. If you combine the cost of a decent bike for a trainer, and a decent direct drive smart trainer, and then throw in that you can have multiple users ride it because it is adjustable, I think it made sense for me, even if the experience was equal to a typical direct drive trainer. But the reality is it is a much better experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great VR experience and ROI. Excellent product. Seems very well-built. Quiet—much quieter than my previous indoor setup. With Zwift, it provides an excellent VR simulation of outdoor group and individual riding. My career and work hours limit opportunities for outdoor riding which I prefer, but this is a very close and satisfying simulation. More expensive than other options, but I'm extremely pleased and enjoying wonderful return on investment. Strongly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Next Level Indoor Cycling ... We've had the KICKR Bike for 2 months now and it has changes the way we train, group ride, and race on Zwift. With the quiet operation, seamless shifting, and quick user change capabilities we have seen our progress pick-up immensely. Being a 2-bike household there is no more swapping bikes once or twice a day. I also find that I push harder on both uphill and downhill grades knowing how quickly I can ratchet through the gears without listening to cassettes grinding. It has made even the hardest workout or race fun again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic training, realistic and fun! Absolutely amazing piece of kit. I can train hard and realistic in bad weather or if the roads are busy. Anytime of the day. The resistance is super realistic and it actually freewheels! You go up hills and you go down. Thank you wahoo for giving me back my training enthusiasm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible technology! I'm a serious cyclist with a very busy professional work and family schedule. So heavily rely on indoor training for sanity, fitness, and efficiency. I had a 2016 Kickr that I logged close to 'miles on last year and the year before. Although that is a great product, the Kickr Bike is simply a leap forward in terms of noise (it is practically silent), ride feel, and integration with training apps. I use trainer road and was a bit confused at first because you don't need to calibrate the Kickr Bike. This made me incredulous that it would be accurate, but it absolutely is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from KICKR Bike - fantastic! I have had my KICKR bike for 10 days now and have ridden around 21 hours, or 380 miles on Zwift. I really, really like it. It wasn't cheap, but at this point I would say it's worth every penny. It was a bit of a pain to carry down the basement stairs (it's heavy!), but it went together easily and quickly. The setup was simple, though the take-a-picture-of-your-bike feature didn't work, so I just measured my bike and set it up like I would any other bike. It connected immediately to Zwift on my Mac, no problems, except at first I didn't know to search separately for cadence and power (the controllable interface connected first). I was riding within an hour of starting the assembly. My previous setup was a power meter-equipped road bike on a dumb trainer, so some of what seems so great about the KICKR bike might be also true of any smart trainer, but the difference to me is night and day. The KICKR bike feels like riding on the road in the way momentum carries over when you coast, or cease pedaling just for a few revs, or start up a hill after a descent. On a steep descent it conveys that feeling of carrying a tremendous amount of speed that you get on the road. The way the bike tilts up & down to match grade means your weight distribution is constantly changing on a rolling course, just like on the road. Over the past year, on any Zwift ride much over an hour, I always watched pro bike racing for the second hour on. I've done several 2+ hour ride on the KICKR bike now, and haven't thought about switching on some racing. It's just way more engaging. I've got it set up with the same derailleurs and gear ratios as my road bike, and it's amazing how similar the feel is - I've done several outside rides since I've had it. And it's great not to have to take the bike off the trainer, swap wheels, or anything else to be ready to ride outside. It's very quiet, quieter than my road bike on the fluid trainer for sure, but not silent. You can hear the turbine/flywheel revving, and there is an audible resonance when you hit a cadence of about 105, at least for the first 15 or 20 minutes of a ride. It isn't displeasing - I actually find it useful as a shifting prompt. After about 20 minutes that resonance stops happening. I haven't found any others like it, at least up to around 140 RPM. I find myself really looking forward to riding each day, and to doing essentially all base miles on it over the next few months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from KICKR Smart Bike Upgraded from a Wahoo Kickr smart trainer, so I’m a fan of their product line. This smart bike is an incredible product – very satisfied. Also, I use exclusively with Zwift. The Wahoo setup app was very helpful. Used by comparing with my actual Trek road bike to obtain the settings & establish a bike profile based on actual gearing, shifters & crank arm lengths. Easily added Look pedals to match my preference on my Trek. Smart bike settings can be easily tweaked-from seat-post to head-set. Very adjustable & versatile for a smart bike. Impressed. Virtual shifters are amazingly quick. I did not use the incline simulation with previous smart trainer, but was pleasantly surprised with that feature on this bike. Bike seat can also be replaced! And it’s noticeably quiet compared to the KICKR Smart Trainer I was previously using. My family has specifically mentioned this as I ride in the early AM hours while watching PL football on NBCSN – bike, and thus TV, are not disruptive in the household! Negatives: Only 1 cage for bottles. But a greater issue for me was that longer water bottles, such as Camelbak Podium Big Chill, don’t easily fit with shift cables hooked to the LED Display. Plus, I don’t prefer where the LED Display is mounted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New KickrBike! My KickrBike arrived yesterday. From the time I started unpacking until I had it paired with the Wahoo app was all of 30 minutes. I took my first ride a bit later, pairing with Zwift to test the climbing feature. Bottom line, works great. I was previously on the Gen3 Kickr, which I thought was very quiet. The bike is equally quiet if not slightly more quiet. Great feeling ride and I particularly like that you get a bit of flex up and down. Bottom line, super happy so far!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Some of the best excersise you can get at home. The good: overall this is a 5 star product, the design team did a great job on it, it has the most and the best features available today, it is very adjustable, it looks great and doesnt take up too much space and it gives you an excellent workout. I compared the simulation on Zwift to real life and, the way this bike handles changes in terrain and adjusts the load is outstanding, to the point that I had the same level of tiredness over the same distance on a flat course as I do in real life, even the speeds generally matched what I get in real life data. Having said this, the downhill simulation is the only place its not perfect in that regard, it doesnt quite feel right, the flywheel doesnt seem to keep up with the simulation and, if you were rolling down a steep hill and stopped pedaling the system will spin down and the flywheel will eventually fully stop, even though in Zwift you are still rolling down and picking up speed. It doesnt seem to allow you to freewheel downhill properly. Im guessing that, if the motor is strong enough this can be fixed with software patches. Overall this is an outstanding exercise tool and worth the money hands down. I cant speak for long term reliability but, it feels like it should handle the virtual miles well. The bad: the seat that comes with the bike is terrible, dont even try to use it it will hurt you, just have a different seat right away and install it from the start. My particular bike had a lot of vibration and metallic buzzing at low rpm, at first I thought something inside was loose but, that was not the case. On the left side of the bike (left when sitting on it) is a plastic panel attached with a bunch of little Allen head screws, if you remove that panel you get access to the rear axle adjustment bolt (9/16th wrench), a circuit board and the cooling system. Now, the way they cool part of the system is by having a fan blowing through a metal wind tunnel, inside that wind tunnel are two metal coils/springs, the problem is that when certain vibrations hit those coils, they make a metallic buzzing sound like a screw rattling. The vibrations themselves came from the flywheel, it is a heavy flywheel and the rear axle adjuster is the oldschool "slider" type, you loosen the bolt and slide that side of the axle around a little bit changing the angle of the flywheel relative to the center line of the bike. Well, in my bike it wasnt adjusted correctly, the flywheel was slightly off center causing a lot of vibration, especially at low RPM, and those vibrations caused everything that could buzz to do so, after playing around with it I was able to center the flywheel a lot better and the vibration is now gone for the most part. So, if you get this bike and experience something like this thats how you fix it, the company doesnt have instructions yet so I wrote them for you here.
